I do a lot of applique with the Blanket Stitch. So when it was time to do the eyelashes, I did it with a Wide width and short stitch length Blanket st. Worked great!!

You are absolutely right on that one, Julie!! I admit, I DO have an attitude and I display it proudly!! LOL!!

I like the "Red Hattitude" idea too! As women age, we are still HOT, it just comes in flashes. Once we survive the flashes, we have earned the right to have an attitude and display it boldly.

Donna and Cleary. "SEW" glad your toppers turned out so nicely!! Each one is so unique and different. When a friend of mine saw mine, she commented how fun it would be to make the hats red and purple for a "Red Hatter" quilt and give to friends. What a neat idea!!

Susan, I just wanted to let you know I did make two of the Witch table toppers. I sent one to my daughter and her family in North Carolina. They loved it. I had some trouble making the witch's hair. I worked two days using the freezer paper only to discover I had them backwards. So I ended up using fussible webbing and cut the center out so it wasn't as stiff. It worked pretty good except in the seam lines. Best part of all was I didn't have to buy anything, I used my stash. Thanks Donna
