SURPRISE!!! If a larger table runner is what you like, instructions will be provided (a little more of the dark fabric will be required though. Below are some illustrations of colors, Fall, Winter, Christmas

If 18" x 54" or a 15" x 45" is more your size you will need a fat quarter for the light, medium and patterned or coordinating fabrics and a 1/2 yard of the dark fabric instead of a fat quarter (the green, the royal blue and the red are the "Dark") . I will be including the directions and cutting instructions for the larger ones also. The Green and Orange is the large, the Monochromatic Blue is the Middle sized and the Red and green is the small one 12" x 36".

Thank-you so much Ruth, that helps me out a lot. I was able to finish putting the runner together with your help.
Was I the only one that had trouble with the pattern?Perhaps I'm not as far advanced in the quilting knowledge as others are.
Anyway it is is really cute pattern, and I would like to make another one soon, thank-you so much Ruth for putting this pattern and instructions together for us. I will post a picture in my album tonight.

Gwen,
Place "D" right side of fabric facing up.
Points facing up and to the left, corner should be at the lower right hand side.
Place "M" right side of fabric facing down on top of "D" with
Point facing up, align right sides of pieces, match corners, allow "D" tail to hang out. Sew and press seam to "M".

Place "DM" unit right side of fabric facing up with the points facing up and to the left.
Place "N" right side of fabric facing down, with the point facing up, on top of "DM" unit, align right hand sides of pieces, match corners, allow "DM" tail to hang ut. Sew and press towards "N". I hope this helps. I wrote the direction incorrectly. I am sorry about your frustrations. i hope this helps.

Step 19 and Step 20 is where I am having the problems. When I place my "M" on top of my "D" the point on "M" is on the right hand side instead of the left hand side.. I have re-read the cutting instructions, and I have my "M" and "N" cut the way they should be... was there some corrections that I missed somewhere along the way??
I am getting very frustrated......... and I really need some help.

Help required... I am having major problems, with the Week 5 part of the runner.. I can't seem to get this part to work out, I have re-read the instructions 50 times and I have checked my cutting, and it seems right, but still this won't work out... can anyone help me with this?

Angie... I just read your post... and that's the exact same mistake I made... lol

I am still working on my runner, haven't had any time lately to work on it, got around to working on it a bit today, then I had to rip some of it out, I made a mistake... thought I had used the wrong colour D pieces, so I ripped them out and sewed in the new pieces and then when I was working on the KDHJI border pieces I realized my mistake wasn't a mistake. I had just turned the centre block so the "D" pieces were where the "O" pieces should have been, so I had to do some more ripping again, but I think I'm on the right track now... at least I hope so. Hopefully tonight I can finish the end border pieces then get it almost finished before I go to bed... if I don't make any more silly mistakes... lol
A person really needs to stay at this one I think, I've had to leave it for a few weeks in between cutting out the pieces, and I was so mixed up when I actually found the time to work on it.

Angie, I did that the first time round also. I took a photo of it, posted it and then realised. So I was able to fix it up and re photographed it. I was thinking I could leave it that way but decided to change it according to the pattern.

Angie, Cant wait to see a picture of your runner. i bet she won't notice it and It just adds a little more flair to the piece.
